Norwegian Shipowners’ Association again invites all crew on board member s’vessels to participate in a photo competition.

Many of the pictures from last year have been used extensively, and we hope you all have been able to enjoy them online. Last year’s photo competition was very successful. So much so, that we want to do the same thing again this year. This time we challenge you to photograph moments from everyday life in the maritime industry. We hereby announce the theme for the competition:

LIFE AT SEA

People are in focus this year. We are looking for glimpses of the good moments. It could be from the bridge, the machine room, on the drilling deck, in the coffee bar or from the galley. It could be pictures of birds, polar bears or Flying Fish, but people are essential.  We are looking for motives that portray life on board and from maritime life in general – make it personal! Pictures that show people in action on a challenging stormy day or cruising towards port on a quiet day are equally exciting. You are free to interpret this in any way you want. What does ” life at sea” mean for you?
